It’s a festival weekend! June-uary is over (knock on wood), and the sun is shining! This is the perfect weekend to get out and see what’s going on, and we’ve been keen on this one for a minute.
Vic West Fest is filled to the brim with community spirit, creativity and fun! Together, residents, businesses and visitors put their resources together in a local neighborhood and offer lots of activities.
Bumpin’ live music, a speedy dog show, dragon boats on the water, the best food trucks in town, interactive art exhibits, and over 25 local artisans and nonprofits.

On a run around PKOLS this past weekend, we ran into the Victoria Hash House Harriers. An older crowd with more energy than most spry individuals. “A drinking club with a running problem”, they say! Sounds like a good time in our books!
5 - 8 km this weekend. Run, walk, no rules! Follow the chalk lines and you’ll get to the end in a reasonable time. A local bar is guaranteed after. There is a lot of history in this club, founded in 1938!
