What is LampPost?
LampPost is a local newsletter that compiles all the events happening in Victoria, BC, and sends them straight to your inbox twice a week. Our goal is to help you stay informed and engaged with your community.
How many emails can I expect?
Don't worry, we're not going to flood your inbox. We send out only two emails per week, one on Sunday and another on Thursday at 7pm sharp.
What types of events are included in the newsletter?
We are Victoria's only 100% comprehensive source for events - that means we get every event going on around town and organize them by categories, such as sports & athletics, live music, creative events, workshops, volunteering opportunities, and many more!
How do you find the events listed in the newsletter?
It takes a lot of work. We scour anywhere from 15-20 different sources and spend a lot of time scrolling through social media to make sure we get everything into the newsletter. Each post takes 4-5 hours of searching different platforms and condensing it into a 5-minute read.
I'm hosting an event. Can I have it included in the newsletter?
