  • A full weekend of game jamming and fun at KWENCH from Oct. 18-20th, courtesy of Games & Tech Victoria! Bring a team or meet people on opening night! Similar to a hackathon, a game jam is people coming together to create games around a central theme (revealed at the start). Work solo or as a team. All levels are welcome and anyone can join - artists, programmers, musicians, or someone looking to learn! Board & card games also encouraged!

  • Part 2 of this amazing festival is on from October 16th - 20th. Explore the connection between land, story, and survival! Hear the works of book columnist Amy Reiswig and three guest readers (poets, journalists, and ecologists!). The works share a common theme of listening to nature to find a new hope in healing the land and ourselves. Bring appropriate outdoor gear!
