Christina and Daisy are back to run another Girlie Cohort!

This time… DANCE EDITION!!

The first class is THIS SATURDAY (January 17th) and the last day to sign up is THURSDAY at MIDNIGHT!

The cost for this Cohort will be $155 which covers…

  1. your participation in the four AWESOME events we have planned for you (more on this below)!

  2. An organizational fee + LampPost Volunteer Cost

  3. A commitment to show up for one another!

To finalize our bookings for all the different events, we have to ask that you make your payment by Thursday, January 15th Payment can be made through this link.

The Dances

Intro to Hoop & Trapeze ⭕

📅 Saturday, January 17th | 5:30-6:30pm | Island Circus School

Aerial hoop consists of a circular metal ring hung from the ceiling, and trapeze is a similar but different apparatus made with a bar and ropes. The crew at Island Circus School will mesh the two together for an exciting first class!

Pole Dancing 💋

📅 February 1st | 11am-12pm | Pole Coven (Studio 4)

Learn essential pole technique through foundational spins, shapes, and transitions on static pole - great if you’ve ever wanted to try pole! The lovely ladies at Studio 4 are stoked to see a new round of girlies!

Burlesque Dance 🥂

📅 February 15th | Time TBD | Passion and Performance

Included: Private Class + Drinks (double!!)

Ready to dip your toes into the sparkly word of Burlesque? Don’t know where to start? Is the idea of stripping on stage both scary but also kinda exciting? Sounds like this class will be perfect for you!

Heels 👠

📅 March 1st | 3-4pm | Pole Coven (Studio 4)

Step into your power and learn the art of moving with confidence and grace in platformed heels. Learn foundational heels technique, safe movement practices, and develop a sensual style to cap off your time in the cohort :)

Building Community with Intention

LampPost Cohorts are designed to bring like-minded people together. This cohort is for people with similar interests as you and wanting to connect and grow their community. Showing up is half the battle so if you can do that, we’d love to have you!

Try a plethora of classes for FREE with your new friends! Salsa, swing and more!

The Rules

  1. Cohorts are not for dating. Please refrain from flirting, ‘making moves’, falling wildly & passionately in love. Friendship first!

  2. Just be chill. We don’t tolerate any hate speech, heated political debates, or really any conversations that are likely to hurt feelings or spark argument.

  3. Zero tolerance. If we see or hear these rules being broken, we’ll have a conversation with ya 1:1 — if it happens again, we’ll have to ask you to step back from the Cohort with no refund. Them’s the rules. If at any point you feel uncomfortable with the actions of a fellow Cohortee, please let us know and we’ll deal with the issue discretely!

  4. No +1’s at core Cohort events. To keep things fair and intentional, the four main Cohort events are members-only. Optional & Alumni events are the exception (which we’ll let you know about through your group chat) — you’re welcome to bring a friend there!

These rules help to make sure everyone can have fun, feel comfortable, and walk away from the Cohort with a positive experience.
